CNC Machinist Summary

Contract Engineering Services has recently partnered with a progressive precision CNC machining company specializing in complex milled and turned aerospace parts. As an AS9100 certified company the team is focused on quality and they are seeking team members who hold product quality to the same standards.

The CNC machinist will be responsible for developing processes, performing set ups and operating various CNC precision machining centers to produce high quality and tight tolerance components. Machine operations will include milling, turning, boring, facing, and threading parts such as castings, forgings, and bar stock.

CNC machinist skills needed:
• Discipline to provide consistent and precise work in a AS9100 compliant environment
• Ability to read engineering and manufacturing drawings
• Setup and operation of CNC Lathe equipment
• Familiarity with quality process control systems
• Ability to use various measuring equipment, including hand-held gages and advanced measuring devices

CNC machinist requirements:
• 3 -5 years’ minimum experience with CNC lathes
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must pass criminal background, physical and drug screen
