<li>Develop preliminary and advanced electrical engineering design concepts for company projects</li>
<li>Develop three line and single line diagrams, or review such diagrams prepared by others</li>
<li>Provide detailed electrical project design inputs such as wire and conduit types, panel configurations, transformer specifications, and other power system components.</li>
<li>Oversee detailed electrical engineering design work performed by consultants. Provide input to the design process.</li>
<li>Develop specifications for various electrical equipment and components (excluding inverters, modules and SCADA equipment).</li>
<li>Work with equipment suppliers and system integrators in developing custom equipment</li>
<li>Review project designs during development and provide input into design standards. Provide input and oversight of Bills of Materials for projects.</li>

<li>Provide interconnection cost estimates including substation, overhead line, and switchgear costs</li>

<p>A.    Coordinate civil design development for projects including Project Management, Design Engineering, Construction and Planning/Permitting team members</p>
<p>B.     Lead the development of civil design Scopes of Work for selected projects</p>
<p>C.     Research and understand jurisdiction-specific civil design requirements for site plans and permit compliant designs and drawings</p>
<p>D.    Perform preliminary civil site plan designs and calculations based on jurisdictional requirements, including storm water management and calculations, grading, cut and fill calculations, secondary containment for spill prevention, drainage, detention ponds, retention basins, dry wells, etc.</p>
<p>E.    Perform complete civil design in AutoCAD. Designs may include grading, rainwater management, site road specifications, berms, landscaping, fencing and gates, and silt fences</p>
<p>F.   Lead the development of Scopes of Work for civil construction subcontractor agreements</p>
<p>In coordination with Project Management team members, conduct civil design solicitations, interview candidate firms and evaluate/select bidders for design work and permitting support on selected projects</p>
<p>H.    Manage supporting consultants and contractors</p>
<p>I.      Provide cost estimation on civil work for bidding purposes</p>
<p>J.     Support Construction team in overseeing subcontractor’ performance; travel to project sites as needed</p>
<p>K .    Support high-quality, safe and cost-effective design and execution of projects</p>
<p>L.     Assure civil designs are suitable, practical and cost effective for field installation</p>
<p>M.   Coordinate and maintain clear communication with Project Management and Construction team members during project execution</p>
<p>N.    Consider worker safety during execution of civil designs.</p>
<p>O.    Support Project Management and Construction teams with permits and required changes during project execution; analyze and recommend any needed solutions and opportunities for design improvement</p>
<p>P.    Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities to the Site Manager</p>
<p>Q.    Maintain effective communications with all team members and site personnel</p>
<p>R.    Ensure documentation for areas of responsibility</p>
